Former Marine Shares Tear-Inducing Post on Day He Passes Away

Matthew DeRemer was a Marine and a surgical technologist at West Bay Surgical Center. His family and friends knew him as a happy-go-lucky guy who loved to ride his motorcycle.

Sadly, he passed away on New Year's Eve when he was struck by a drunk driver in Largo, Florida. Just a day before his passing, he posted a Facebook message that perfectly conveyed his perspective on life.

The most heartbreaking part was the ending where he wrote "And I really don't know where I'll end up tonight but I do know where I windup is where I'm meant to be."

The man who killed Matthew is being held on DUI manslaughter charges. Matthew was a man of faith who is now where he was meant to be.
