Following The Dallas Shooting President Obama Shocked By Doing This To The White House

Though President Obama ordered that the White House flags be flown at half-staff in honor of the Dallas police officers who were murdered, the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association says it’s not enough.

Policemag.com reports that the President of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, Jon Adler, asked that the White House display law enforcement’s “Thin Blue Line” and illuminate the White House in blue light to honor the officers lives.

The White House has been lit pink and rainbow for Breast Cancer and same-sex marriage, however Obama denied the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association’s request.

“That’s not something that we plan to do at this point,” Presidential Press Secretary Josh Earnest told The Washington Times.

Earnest cited Obama’s decision to lower the flags, and his visit to Dallas to speak at the memorial and meet members of the fallen officers families.

“There a variety of ways that the president and this administration have chosen to conspicuously demonstrate our deep gratitude and our solemn condolences in the aftermath of the shooting that claimed the lives of five police officers in Dallas last week,” Earnest said.
