Florida Dad Sells Truck To Punish Dope-Smoking Son

One dad in Florida is hopping mad about his 18-year-old son’s pot habit, and decided to do something about it. His parental decision has gone viral after the father posted a Craigslist ad to sell the truck he purchased for his son because he just “drives around and smokes dope with his friends.”

Jacksonville father Allan Gieger noted to WJXT Channel 4 that he was totally surprised when people from all across the country started sending him congratulations for teaching his son an important life lesson.

“Texas, Tennessee, just all over the place, telling me I’m not interested in your truck. I just want to tell you you’ve got Texas support and everyone supporting you with your decisions,” Gieger commented.

Gieger explained he is selling the 1998 Ford Explorer because his wayward son “thinks it’s cool to drive around with his friends smokin’ dope and acting all thug … especially not showing me and my wife the respect that we deserve.”

The angry dad also gave reporters a close look at “a roach” (marijuana cigarette butt) his son and friends had left behind in the truck.

“Got the last little bit of roach that I guess him and his buddies were smoking. Whoever gets this thing has definitely got to clean it out,” Gieger said with a rueful shake of his head.
