Fireman Helps Pregnant Woman Deliver Her Baby - Then Asks A Shocking Question

Fate has a way of sneaking up on you out of nowhere, and it can even rear its head when you’re in the midst of a normal workday. Firefighter Marc Hadden knows that full well, as his life was forever altered after he answered what he thought was a routine emergency call. As Shareably explains, the call was anything but ordinary, and it would end up having a lasting impact on Marc and his family.

The call was from a pregnant woman that was in need of some assistance. There was simply no way she was going to make it to the hospital on time, as the baby was ready to come at any second. Marc and his crew arrived on the scene to assist the woman, and she soon welcomed a healthy baby girl to the world. The baby was named Grace, and Marc excitedly relayed the details to his wife.

“Who gets to deliver a baby in their lifetime that’s not a doctor?” his wife Beth recalls.

While the story is remarkable enough at that point, it got even better from the couple’s perspective. Turns out the woman had intended to give her baby up for adoption. That perked up Marc’s attention, as he and Beth had long desired to become adoptive parents. They had two children of their own already, but a third one wasn’t an option due to health concerns.

The routine call turned into a perfect storm for Marc and Beth, and they set out on a course to adopt the little girl known as Grace. As often happens in cases of fate, everything magically fell into place and they were able to welcome the beautiful baby girl into their family quickly.

The couple has recounted the amazing story in a video that’s taken on a life of its own. The couple points out how blessed they feel that Marc was in the right place at the right time.
