FBI Furious By Decision Regarding Clinton's Email Scandal

Bits and pieces about the FBI and Department of Justice’s handling of the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s alleged mishandling of classified information continue to leak out, and sources indicate that there are plenty of upset people behind the scenes. As Fox News reports, many long-time employees are scratching their heads right along with the rest of America.

The sources describe a prevailing sense of angst among rank and file employees, who simply can’t wrap their heads around why more wasn’t done.

“No trial level attorney agreed, no agent working the case agreed, with the decision not to prosecute -- it was a top-down decision,” a source with knowledge of the investigation said.

At a minimum, they feel the Democratic presidential candidate should’ve faced some repercussions.

“It was unanimous that we all wanted her [Clinton’s] security clearance yanked,” another official said.

FBI Director James Comey’s announcement that he would not be recommending charges against Clinton sent shockwaves through the halls of FBI headquarters.

“We were floored while listening to the FBI briefing because Comey laid it all out, and then said ‘but we are doing nothing,’ which made no sense to us,” the official continued.
