Fans Claim This Man Spotted At Graceland Is Really Elvis In Disguise

The 40th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley, who died in August 1977 at the age of 42, has passed. The music icon passed away at his Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee of a heart attack after he was found unconscious in his bathroom.

His stunning death sent shockwaves throughout the world, as the beloved King of Rock n’ Roll had legions of fans that absolutely adored him. Presley would have turned 82 earlier this year, but his star hasn’t dimmed even the slightest bit.

In fact, he’s just as popular as ever. His Graceland mansion has been converted into a tourist destination, and his devoted fans will make pilgrimages to the estate just to get closer to the man they worship.

Graceland is big business, and we can expect fans to flock there in droves as the 40th anniversary of his death approaches. They may even come out more so in the wake of this little tidbit.

As the Daily Mail shares, photos of a mysterious bearded man at Graceland have been capturing a ton of attention. The nondescript man is wearing a dark baseball cap and sunglasses, but fans of Presley have been captivated by the image.

If you look really closely, you can see a slight resemblance to Presley, and that’s led some fans to believe that the man in the photo is the star himself.

There has long been speculation that Presley faked his own death so that he could finally get out of the spotlight. Since he burst onto the scene in the 1950s, he was the subject of tremendous fascination.

Of course, that brought along all the usual trappings of fame, as well as non-stop gossip about Presley’s personal life. There are plenty of rumors that he had a substantial drug problem in his later years, and that’s what ultimately led to his death.

Some fans believe that Presley grew tired of the fame and all of the baggage, and that led him to find a way to fade out of the spotlight peacefully. That’s led to an endless number of Elvis sightings, in which fans claim to have seen the deceased star doing all sorts of things.

The photo of the man in question has opened up the speculation all over again, and commenters on Presley fansites sound pretty convinced this man is the real deal.

“I did notice that man at a few points during the video and wondered if it was him,” shared one user. “I thought, he's hiding in plain sight again. The people next to him probably have no idea.”

“Must be our Elvis. The bodyguards are so obvious. Wish I was there so much,” shared another. “I would have noticed him.”

Of course, not everyone is convinced, and plenty of detractors have piled on to say that this speculation about the unidentified man is a bunch of hogwash. One thing is for certain, those that believe that Presley is not really dead will continue looking for any sign that may prove their theory once and for all.
