Family Of Death Row Inmate’s Victim Arranges For Him To See His Daughter

An incredible story on the power of forgiveness and moving on has emanated out of the state of Arkansas. Kenneth Williams is on death row and scheduled to be executed. He’s been responsible for three deaths during his sordid path, and he has clearly demonstrated that he should never see the light of day again. As the Independent Journal Review shares, the family of his final victim has recently done something amazing for him.

Kayla Greenwood is the 22-year-old daughter of one of his victims. Her whole world was flipped upside down when her father was taken from her. Nonetheless, she and her family decided they needed to do something before Williams was executed. They would arrange a meeting between him and his daughter that he hasn’t seen for 17 years.

“We experience what she felt. She is getting ready to lose a father and me, my brother, and sister all lost a father. It sucks and we feel really bad for her. Even though he killed our father,” Greenwood said.

The incredible gesture stunned Greenwood, who is resigned to his fate for his deplorable actions.

“When he found out that we are bringing his daughter and granddaughter to see him and that my mom and dad bought the tickets, he was crying to the attorney. He was sad he couldn't talk to us,” she continued.

Forgiving and moving on with your life can do wonders for your own mental health, but there are few that would be able to summon the strength to do that in this case. Kayla and her family have done just that, and it’s nothing short of remarkable.

“I believe justice has already been served. He hasn't been able to kill anyone else. Executing him is more of revenge. I think it will just show her people can have unconditional love for you. A stranger never met you. You can bring a beautiful thing out of any situation,” Greenwood added.
