Family Of 10 Demand Taxpayers Do This, Instead Of Accepting A 5-Bedroom Home

A French couple with eight children living in the UK are demanding public housing, but they're not satisfied with what has been offered. After turning down three homes, officials are warning them that they have one more chance.

Arnold and Jeanne Mballe Sube, 33, live in public housing with their eight children. The couple say the three-bedroom home is the 'worst place they've ever lived' and they're demanding the government provide a more suitable residence.

Mr. Sube holds down two jobs and is busy studying for a degree, but the couple has been given and additional $55,000 in government handouts since migrating to the UK. They're now insisting on an affordable home with at least six double rooms.

The Luton Borough Council has offered the couple three different properties, including a five-bedroom home worth well over $300,000. For a period of four months, the family was put up in the expensive Hampton by Hilton hotel at the expense of the taxpayers.

"Me and my family have been neglected," complains Mr. Sube to the Daily Mail. "we are living in a three-bedroom house and there's not enough room for us to live - there's ten of us."

"The council is trying to make things hard for us, my wife is a full-time mother and I am a student," Sube continued. "They're just making excuses, we need a five- or six-bedroom house with double rooms to comfortably fit our family in."

The Council has given the Subes an ultimatum: take the next four- or five-bedroom home offered, or fend for themselves.

"After a generous offer on our part, we have done our bit and if housing is offered and declined without, what we judge, good reason, then we will offer the property to another family," said a spokesperson for the council.
