Entitled Passengers Taught A Valuable Lesson After Doing This

As a general rule of thumb, it’s a good idea to be on your best behavior when traveling on an airplane. Flight crews are trained to have zero tolerance for passengers that get out of line, and that policy is designed in part to keep everyone safe while en route to their destinations. Despite that being general knowledge for most air travelers, some passengers still feel the need to push the envelope.

As Elite Daily reports, that was the case for this man and his girlfriend, and they got so out of line that the plane had to be diverted. Blake Adam Fleisig, 35, and his girlfriend, 36-year-old Anna Christine Koosmann were onboard a Delta airlines flight from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to Los Angeles, but they would never make it to their destination.

About 20 minutes after taking off, Koosman got up to use the restroom. Unfortunately for her, the plane’s captain had not given the ‘all clear’ sign to allow people to move about the cabin as needed, and a flight attendant asked her to return to her seat. Koosman apparently took that as some kind of personal affront, as she “became aggressive” towards the attendant.

It wasn’t long before Fleisig got involved as well, and the couple “refused to follow crew instructions, became aggressive and created a disruption in the cabin.” That proved to be an incredibly poor choice, as the plane was diverted back to Minneapolis to unload the unruly pair. Police would meet the flight as it landed, and the loving couple was escorted off the plane - but not before another incident.

Passengers on the plane began cheering, and Fleisig decided the best course of action was to attack one of the passengers. Koosmann unleashed a slew of profanities, and the lovebirds were promptly arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Video of the couple’s unruly behavior has been making the rounds, and it’s definitely worth a watch - just in case you need a reminder of how not to behave on an airplane.
