Encounter Between Man And Officer At Walmart Is Going Viral

A photo of two men holding hands in prayer in Georgia is circulating the internet and has gone viral. According to Fox 5, the photo is of Avery Rosser of Columbus who is holding the hands of Muscogee County Marshal’s Office Deputy Clinton Powell in a Walmart. Rosser posted the photo after the shootings of police officers in Dallas and Louisiana.

"We all need prayer," Rosser said in a Facebook post that was shared more than 11,000 times.

He originally posted it on SnapChat with a caption that says, "Everyone I see we pray.. Praying for Peace." Muscogee County MarshalPhot Greg Countryman also posted the image on his Facebook page.

"Glory to God! In light of everything going on around us, it's good to see citizens interact with a Muscogee County Marshal's Office deputy to pray together. This bring things into perspective. Awesome," Countryman wrote, according to Fox 5.

What the two men praying didn’t know was that a Walmart customer happened to catch a glimpse of the men as they prayed and posted his own picture to social media.

"Just walked in Walmart and saw this," Wesley Mears wrote. "This is absolutely amazing. This is what will save us from ourselves."
