Donald Trump Noticed This Person At His Golf Course, Banned Him For Life

A biographer who wrote a book about President Elect Donald Trump years ago showed up for a game of golf on Trump's course in Florida. Mr. Trump promptly asked the writer to leave.

Harry Hurt III penned the 1993 biography, "Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump," is not welcome at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The president elect saw Hurt last Friday while he was playing and asked him to leave.

Hurt walked up to Trump and offered his hand and a congratulatory remark for his election win. He says the president elect turned to him and said, "You were rough on me, Harry. Really rough. That s--- you wrote."

In Hurt's biography, he writes that Mr. Trump's ex-wife, Ivana, accused him of 'rape' in a sworn deposition. Ivana later retracted that statement, admitting she had exaggerated and didn't mean it in a 'criminal' sense. Overall, Trump is largely portrayed by Hurt as a blowhard who tries to come off as more successful in life than he actually is.

Hurt says he told Trump, "It's all true."

Trump replied, according to Hurt, "Not in the way you wrote it."

Hurt says he thought Trump was over being angry about the book because when he wrote a review of nearby golf course Emerald Dunes about 10 years ago, Trump sent him a hand-written note telling him to try Trump International.

Apparently, though, the water didn't quite make it all the way under the bridge, particularly now that Hurt is trying to republish the book. No publisher wants to touch it for fear of lawsuits.
