Do You Like Pokemon Go? Police Just Issued A Big Warning

When people have a good thing going on, sometimes there are people who have to go and ruin it. The Pokemon Go craze, which is an augmented reality game on an app that has players find digital creatures in the real world. The game has reportedly brought joy to many and has even helped some people to be social and get out of their house.

However, a dark side to the game has emerged. There have been reports about concerns that pedophiles could use the app to lure children. One woman put the app to the test using the lure feature, and soon thereafter random children showed up who had no qualms about interacting with strangers.

“It occurs to me that someone could use this for nefarious purposes. There's a sense of camaraderie that is built up around this game,” Robin said, according to MailOnline. “The kid I just played with definitely lost his stranger danger sense.”

Other fears that have surfaced include thieves using the app to lure people to certain spots so they can rob them. Others have reported that the game has people distracted and crossing roads without observing oncoming traffic. Some people have reportedly been injured in the act of trying to chase down some of their Pokemon.
