Disney Employee Finds Lanyard, Sees Note Attached To It, Picture Of It Goes Viral (PHOTOS)

A hotel worker who’s used to making a little magic happen from time to time was recently surprised to find that there were plenty of people willing to help her in a recent quest. According to KTLA, the Disneyland hotel employee’s request for help in finding an autistic guest has been shared more than 12,000 times on Facebook.

Emily Gibby works at the Disneyland resort in Anaheim and was presented with a red lanyard by another ‘cast member’ at the hotel. The lanyard had four pins attached to it, as well as a curious little note.

“Hello! I am autistic, and I don’t talk much, but I would like to trade for Mickey pins!” the note read.

Gibby would later explain that they would fill the lanyard with pins, and even include a Mickey medallion. But there was a small problem. They didn’t know who to return the lanyard to, and that’s when they turned to Facebook for help.

“But now we need everyone’s help in finding him/her!! Share this post and help us find our friend!” the post reads in part.

Readers would certainly take them up on the offer to share the post, but they have so far had no luck in locating the lanyard owner.
