Daughter Is Blowing It On Stage - Pops Isn't About To Let That Happen

While there may be a ton of books on the shelves and out in the digital world on the topic of being a parent, there remains no clear-cut handbook that shows you how it’s done. That’s because there is no possible way to come up with a handbook that would cover each and every life situation that may come up during the parenting journey.

Sure, there are plenty of great tips out there that all parents can learn from and add to their own repertoire to make sure they consistently knock it out of the park, but the actual parenting part comes from deep down inside.

Parenting requires compassion, understanding, firmness, adaptability, and dedication - just to name a few of the more important qualities. Most importantly, parenting requires a whole lot of love. While that may sound like a no-brainer, there are far too many folks that miss that simple concept.

There are parents out there that will rack their brains trying to figure out how to handle everything perfectly, but the reality is that the answers lay right inside if you just listen to your instincts. While it may sound like a corny and dated sentiment, love can truly guide the way if you’ll just let it.

As Faith Tap shares, that’s what Kentucky father Ace Heart did when he was faced with what seemed like an impossible situation, and the results were quite memorable. His adorable two-year-old daughter was on stage at her winter recital, and the proud dad was beaming when his little princess took to the stage.

Unfortunately, there was a problem right away. The young child that wasn’t used to being the center of attention for so many people got a nasty case of stage fright. She froze up on the spot, and you could just sense that a meltdown could be coming any second.

Ace wasn’t having it. The dad immediately acted on his instincts, and he came up with the perfect solution. He jumped backstage in his daughter’s line of sight, and he started to perform the exact routine that she was supposed to be doing - just like they had practiced together at home.

His daughter was undoubtedly relieved at the sight of her dad that was there to help her out of a jam, and we have a sneaking suspicion that this won’t be the only time she feels that sense of relief as she continues to grow.

The performance was captured on video, and Ace’s actions just so happened to be captured as well. It’s unclear which part is more heartwarming: the sight of the adorable little girl finding a way to make it happen in spite of being scared out of her mind, or that of a large man that wasn’t too proud to jump in and make sure his little princess got through her moment in the sun.

The video quickly captured a ton of attention, and Ace was reached for some comments by the site Baby Bellies & Beyond. Unsurprisingly, he doesn’t get what all the fuss is about.

"I don't even know what to think about it because, for me, anyone who knows me knows that's just me being me, being a parent. I do that daily,” he said. “That's nothing unusual."

That’s about what you would expect to hear from a dad that’s on the right track. Keep on doing your thing, Ace. Your little angel is going to turn out just fine.
