Dad Shows His Son That Cops Are Good - He Broke The Law First To Prove It

Tony Malone didn’t not want his son, Tyler, to grow up with a fear of law enforcement officers. So when he got pulled over he used the opportunity to teach his son that all police officers aren’t bad. He explained the ordeal in a post on social media:

“Just got pulled over for tint. My tint is 5% so I never debate that. While being pulled over, I noticed that Tyler was nervous because of the recent things that have been going on in America and Memphis with the police officers. I instantly informed Ty that most officers are not like you've seen recently in the media. I then took my ticket and asked the officer to speak with Tyler.”

Sergeant Troy Simmons, a K-9 Deputy for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office was happy to oblige, according to Independent Journal Review.

"I gave him a hug and I said it is really okay. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and I am here to help you at any time,” said Simmons. If there is anything I can do for you, all you need to do is call and we will come to your assistance."

Simmons said he appreciated that Malone took the time to set an example for his son, even after he got a ticket.
