Crowd Stunned By What 10-Year-Old Brought To Teen's Vigil

Some say that kindness begets kindness and the same goes for other emotions and gestures. This is true for a West Memphis boy named Max Morris. The 10-year-old made national headlines for his kind hearted gesture after his community was mourning from the death of Brent Price, a local teen who was killed in a car crash.

"I walked by to my house and there was a big gathering, and we just stopped by and asked what it was," Max told FOX 13. "So I just ran home and got all the money out of my piggy bank and ran it back."

Morris didn’t know Price but he wanted to help Price’s family and the community heal, so he decided to contribute in a way that he was able to. He gave up the $20 he had been saving up to get himself a guitar even though it was his dream to be a country music star.

"I was saving up for a guitar for like five weeks," he told the local news. "And then as I was walking back, I just said you know what they need it more. Just forget about the guitar. I can get that later."

That kindness came right back around to Max from a complete stranger.

"I've got a guitar and you just touched my heart, and I want you to have it," said Don Olben who gave Max his own guitar. "You get it back tenfold. I wish I could do more for him, but that's sweet right there."
