Couple Discovers A Tiny Brick House - Realizes It’s For Children

When Matt and Anna Jones bought their home in 2000, they didn’t realize that the property included a New Jersey landmark. In addition to the house they live in, the real estate deal included a very odd mini house.

According to Little Things, the tiny brick house is three and a half feet in height and is fully stocked with tables, chairs, kitchen cabinets and more… just like a full-sized house. This place even had a brick fireplace, a piano and a bedroom.

The Jones’ neighbors had all sorts of different theories about the house: that it belonged to people who worked in the circus or that it was home to a family of dwarves. Anna eventually found out the truth, that it was built in the 1960s as a playhouse for the homeowners grandchildren.

The house has become so famous in New Jersey that people often stop by and take photos of it. The Jones’ also took to decorating the house for holidays like Halloween and Christmas.

Unfortunately, the home was damaged during Hurricane Sandy and has been vandalized many times over the years. The Jones have no plans to move, but are looking to sell the home to “eccentric person that has nothing better to do with their money."
