Couple Babysitting For Children Tortured Kids For Six Days, Putting Them In Hospital

A Pennsylvania mother planning to take a vacation to North Carolina found a young couple willing to care for her four children for a mere $100. While the mother was gone, the kids were subjected to abuses that can only be described as torture. The couple have been arrested and have been charged with dozens of crimes.

Jakayo Scott Frye and Shyann Marie Hills, both 22 years old, were arrested after horrific abuses they allegedly committed against the four children, ages 7 through 14, in their care. The four children have been hospitalized and are severely traumatized by the 6-day ordeal, during which they were deprived of food, water, sleep and bathroom access.

The babysitters reportedly struck all of the children repeatedly with their fists, and has other children hit them. One child's head was slammed against the door numerous times for crying for her mother. Sadly, this is only the tip of the iceberg of the horrors that the children endured.

One child was tied to a cabinet until her hands turned purple due to the tightness of the wrist restraints.

One child was reportedly required to lay in a 'plank' position while suspended over nails, so that if she relaxed she would land on them.

When one child was not permitted to go to the bathroom for hours, she reportedly wet herself. Her captors then forced her to lick her urine off the wood floor.

Another child was forced to drink dog urine through a straw.

One child was repeatedly lifted by her ears.

One child was forced to stay in a push-up position until he passed out, and the couple reportedly woke him up by putting his head under water, the other children told investigators.

The list of abuses goes on and on, one shocking incident after another. One child told police that 'they treated the dogs better'.

When the mother came to pick up the children at the Rome trailer where Frye and Hill reside, the couple denied the abuse. They told the mother of the children that her children sustained injuries from throwing themselves against the wall. He said a dog crate fell on one girl, who had a sprained ankle and excessive bruising.

The mother began driving the kids to Waverly, New York to visit her husband's parents, but one girl began complaining that her back ached. She told her mother that she felt like she was going to pass out or vomit, and that she was having trouble hearing out of one ear.

When the mother arrived in Waverly she discovered the girl who was complaining couldn't walk. She examined the other children and found more bruises on them. At that point she called for medical help.

At the hospital, the children were discovered to all be suffering from severe bruising and dehydration.

The mother brought the children to the hospital and contacted authorities.

Both Fry and Hill have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child, terroristic threats and dozens of other crimes.

Bail for Frye has been set at $750,000 and bail for Hill was set for $500,000.
