Cops Realize Why Veteran's Car Was Set On Fire

Portland citizens are still rioting and running amok after the election, protesting Donald Trump's victory. Police are now on the lookout for a vandal who uses the tag, 'FK Trump.' The unknown person has trashed and burned two cars.

One of the cars vandalized was a Mustang that belonged to a former Marine. He had a pro-Trump bumper sticker on his car. Jermaine Streeter says that his bumper sticker doesn't give anyone the right to destroy his vehicle.

"I just feel with all the hatred, it's not going to change anything. The U.S. has spoken and they've picked Trump as the next president," he said to KTVB. "Rioting, destroying things isn't going to get your way and the younger generation needs to know how things work in life."

The other victim, Chevonne Ball, came back to find her Volvo had been vandalized and lit on fire. The damage to the Volvo was not as extensive as the damage to the Mustang.

"I understand we're in a fragile time right now and everyone is angry, sad and confused but clearly vandalism and violence aren't the answer. It just causes more problems," Ball said.

One witness said they spotted someone jumping up and down, then running away, just as one of the cars was lit on fire. Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the suspect being arrested.
