Coach Tired Of Seeing Players Protest The National Anthem - Does Something About It

More and more NFL players are jumping on the Colin Kaepernick wagon and protesting the national anthem. The action, they claim, is because of police shooting of black males. One coach turned around to show support to officers.

Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy was sick of the anti-police campaigns coming to football fields across the country. Instead of using his platform to villainize law enforcement, McCarthy wanted to show support for men and women in blue.

McCarthy and the Green Bay Packers will be donating $200,000 to the Green Bay Police Foundation.

“This is a very difficult time for our country and really need [a] program like this that bring people together, bring communities together, particularly public safety and community members, and really start listening to each other and having a discussion instead of trying to win the debate,” said McCarthy. “This is something that could well be a role model for other cities around the country.”

McCarthy claims he wants to "be part of the solution to make our community better."
