A lot of supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton praise her for her eloquent responses that show expert knowledge of the issues. Unfortunately, more and more evidence seems to suggest that this is mostly an illusion. Yet another leak is supporting the accusation that Clinton is working with the press and entire interviews are scripted.
The latest WikiLeaks release included a group of emails that made the rounds prior to Clinton's phone interview with MSNBC's Chris Hayes. The email shows that not only was Clinton's answer scripted and well rehearsed but so was the question.
"HRC is going to call into Chris Hayes’ show this afternoon to do her tax hit. How does this look to you guys?" wrote Jake Sullivan, Clinton's policy advisor. It was sent to a dozen key players in the Clinton campaign.
Hayes later played the interview with Clinton, each question matching each scripted answer perfectly.
This wouldn't be the first time Clinton has been accused of having access to press questions in advance. Other emails have even shown that she was handed advance notice of Town Hall debate questions and that journalists have been sending the Clinton campaign friendly warnings about potential concerns.
