California Primary: Schwarzenegger Votes For John Kasich Not Trump

The Terminator is not a big fan of The Donald.

Actor and Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger voted for John Kasich, not Donald Trump, in California's Republican primary. This somewhat provocative announcement is already leading to speculation whether the Terminator plans to endorse Trump at all.

"I can confirm he voted for Kasich," Daniel Ketchell, Schwarzenegger's spokesman, noted on Tuesday.

Ketchell used Twitter to confirm Thursday afternoon that Schwarzenegger had cast his ballot for Kasich, whom he endorsed in the primary. Of note, Kasich suspended his presidential campaign in May

Ketchell went on to say that he didn't know when or if his boss was going to endorse any candidate in the 2016 presidential race. In an interview on "Meet the Press" last week, Schwarzenegger commented he planned to "make an announcement before the election. You can be sure of that. But I will do it my way. Which is always an unusual way."

Many political pundits have speculated even if Schwarzenegger doesn’t go so far as to throw his support to Democrat Hillary Clinton, he may well withhold his endorsement of Republican nominee Trump.

Of interest, while Schwarzenegger has been selected to succeed Trump on "Celebrity Apprentice," the two men disagree on a number of issues. The Governator has long been a supporter of the climate change movement, but The Donald has commented he’s not a "big believer" in manmade global warming.
