Bronx Man Jailed For Beating Wife’s Would-Be Rapist To Death

It usually takes quite a while for would-be and alleged rapists to be tracked down and brought to justice, but justice was served almost immediately in the Bronx last night. As MadWorldNews reports, that round of justice has left one man dead and another one in jail.

A little after 10 p.m. last night, a 51-year-old woman was alone in her apartment when she was attacked by 43-year-old Earl D. Nash, who forced his way into her home and attempted to rape her. The victim suffered multiple contusions and had her clothes ripped off during the struggle, but she was alertly able to grab her cellphone.

The woman was able to alert her husband, 61-year-old Mamadou Diallo, who was able to rush home to prevent further damage. He ran into the would-be assailant in the building, and proceeded to beat the man who had brutally assaulted his wife.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a bloody and battered Nash, who was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead. Diallo was arrested, and appears headed for charges of manslaughter in the death of Nash.
