BLM Member Robbed In Houston - Turns To The Cops For Help

In a story just dripping with all kinds of irony, an active Black Lives Matter supporter was mugged at his student housing. He doesn't blame the man who stuck a gun in his face and stole his wallet and cell phone; he blames the circumstances that drove the man to a life of crime. He also thinks the university should add more security.

Jerry Ford Jr., a University of Houston graduate student, was robbed in front of his off-campus housing. He greeted a man standing outside the gate, thinking the man was a student. When he went to unlock the gate, he turned his head and found himself staring down the barrel of a gun.

Ford said the thief took his wallet and phone. He also complained that crime is a problem in the area.

"It's becoming a pattern. I hope they would take a bigger stance and put more security over here because you have a lot of people walking back and forth to class,” said Ford.

Yes, you read that right-- a BLM movement activist wants a school to send in more security to infringe on the rights of wrong-doers.

Ford doesn't blame the mugger, though. He blames society. He says he would have given him money if the man had asked. "I would've talked to him because the real crime is why is he in that position that he feels the need to come and hang out at a college campus and rob people of stuff they worked for."

In light of that opinion, it’s unclear again, then, why Ford wants this poor mugger harassed by police or guards.
