Bizarre Information Surfaces About The ‘Supermom’ Abducted On Thanksgiving

Police in California are still investigating a kidnapping case in which a wife and mother says she was abducted by two Hispanic women. A blog in the victim's maiden name is being looked at as having a possible link to the crime.

The Shasta County Sherriff’s Department is looking at a blog from 2003 written by a Sherri Graeff, the maiden name of Sherri Papini. Papini recently made headlines nation-wide when she was kidnapped while jogging, only to be returned three weeks later in an emaciated condition, bruised, battered and burned. Her body had been branded with a message from her abductors.

The blog has been circulating since Papini's disappearance, and her husband Keith has dismissed it as 'fabricated.' Police are leaving no stone unturned, however, and are looking into it anyway.

The blog came from a now defunct website, skinheadz.com, and in it the poster claimed to have a long history of problems with Hispanic people. "The chief problem was that I was drug-free, white and proud of my blood heritage. This really irked a group of Latino girls, which would constantly rag and attack me," read the post.

The poster also said that her father was constantly having to stand up for her against Latinos, and that she often got suspended from school for defending herself. It goes on to describe a vicious childhood fight in which the poster broke a Hispanic girl's nose.

"That post isn’t true, it was a prank by someone at high school, she never found out who did it. Sherri isn’t racist," said Papini's ex-husband, David Dreyfus.

Dreyfus says that when he and Sherri met, they were both working on a community project with people of all races. "The crowd couldn’t have been more diverse. That’s not who Sherri is," he concluded.

Police say they have 'no reason to disbelieve Sherri Papini's story,' but they are looking into every possible lead and examining the case from every angle.
