Disturbing Posts From 19-Year-Old Dad Accused Of Beating Baby Into Coma Revealed

A 19-year-old Brooklyn man has been charged with felony assault after allegedly inflicting some horrific injuries on his baby daughter. The girl’s mother, 17-year-old Tammy Lewis, dropped the girl off to spend quality time with her dad.

The dad, Shaquan Taylor, would contact her on social media to let her know there was some kind of problem and she needed to come back. When Lewis returned, she found her daughter face up on the couch and struggling to breathe.

As the Daily Mail reports, the girl was rushed to Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn - but it wasn’t by her mother. As Lewis attempted to flee the scene with her daughter, Taylor caught up to her and punched her to the ground, unconscious.

He would then give the baby to a friend that called an ambulance. He attempted to explain that the baby had fallen off of a bed, but his story quickly fell apart.

The girl suffered some horrific injuries, and it’s unclear if she’s going to be able to make it. Doctors discovered that the girl had bleeding on the brain, two skull fractures, and bruises all over her body.

Taylor was arrested, and the investigation has uncovered some disturbing social media posts he has made about his daughter and her mother.

“Feel mad disrespected,” read one post. “Told that lil b***h to get abortion (and) she tells me she is but still keep it. Exactly why I hate that lil b***h.”

That soliloquy was shared right around the time of his daughter’s birth.

“I didn't even want to have a baby by her (and) it's sad to say, but f*** it, s*** happens,” read another post. “Please don't ask who Nylah's moms is nor do I still f*** with her cause NO. Just f***ed (that) hotty a**, that's it.”

It’s quite clear Taylor was not a big fan of becoming a father, nor is he anywhere near being mentally fit to handle the responsibility. The baby’s aunt, Christine Munford, indicates that she’s not surprised that Taylor became violent with the baby.

“He said that about a year ago he was going to hit the baby if she brought [her] around,” she said. “And [Sunday] he threatened her and said he was going to punch her in the face when she got there. And then obviously that happened.”

It’s unclear why Lewis would leave the child alone with him since he had leveled such threats before. Additionally, his salty language on social media does not indicate that he was a candidate for father of the year.

While there may be a lot more to this story than has already been reported, that seems like an awfully unusual decision based on the information that’s been presented.

We’ll have to wait and see what else the investigation uncovers, but things don’t sound promising for anyone in this situation, let alone that poor defenseless baby that was attacked and viciously beaten for unfathomable reasons.
