Al Sharpton's Daughter's $5M Lawsuit Takes A Turn Following Leaked Photos Contradicting Her Claims (Photos)

An uneven sidewalk in New York led to 30-year-old Dominique Sharpton spraining her ankle, and by her calculations, that’s worth a cool $5 million. As the Daily Mail points out, she may want to rethink that figure after her recent deposition in the case.

Sharpton, the daughter of Rev. Al Sharpton, the famed political activist and TV host, has been under increased scrutiny since she filed the suit, which she claims was needed due to her 'permanent pain and mental anguish.’ Observers have wondered aloud exactly how much pain she is, in fact, suffering from, as there are pictures on Instagram that feature her hiking, among other questionable incidents.

She also didn’t do herself any favors while on the stand. Dominique lamented that she would no longer be able to run, but when pressed by the defense, she flat out admitted she didn’t run to begin with.

“Not necessarily. But if I, you know, if I needed to do it and exercising or something like that, I was capable of it. Now, I can't,” she replied to cross-examination questioning.
