Adopted Woman Finally Learns The Horrific Truth About Her Birth

There was no way Morgan Hill could be prepared for what her adopted parents told her after high school graduation. Yet, she was even less prepared to meet the man who she eventually learned was responsible for saving her life.

“I honestly didn’t know what to think when she was telling me,” said Morgan. “She had the binder of articles and just had me read through all of them.”

What she learned was that her biological mother hid her pregnancy and ended up dumping Hill in a trash bag and left her to die.

After reading through the articles that her adopted mother collected, Hill learned that Garold Hyatt, a construction worker known to friends as “Rocky,” found her. He heard crying noises and movement coming from a bag and ran to the nearby hospital for help, KSHB Kansas City reports. Three nurses came to her rescue.

A KSHB Kansas City reporter asked Hill what she would say to those who saved her.

“Just, honestly, thank you," she said. "And I couldn’t say thank you enough for basically saving my life and giving me the chance to live a wonderful, beautiful life with the family I have."

What Hill didn’t know was that the reporter tracked down Hyatt, who was waiting to meet Hill in her living room. Hill welled up with tears and hugged her savior for about two minutes straight during the reunion.
