Actor Breaks Down In Tears After He Sees What Little Boy Is Wearing

When you’re a ridiculously successful Hollywood star that plays action heroes for a living, you can quickly buy into your own press clippings and become burdened with an ego large enough to match the size of your bank account. That’s not an issue for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who remains remarkably grounded in spite of being one of the most famous stars in the world. As the New York Daily News shares, he demonstrated that once again when he met a particularly amazing young fan.

Jacob O'Connor, 10, is a hero in his own right. The Michigan boy rescued his 2-year-old brother Dylan from the family swimming pool, and he noted that he used a technique he learned from watching Johnson in the 2015 movie "San Andreas." The toddler made a full recovery thanks to Jacob’s quick thinking, and he received an awesome reward for his amazing act of heroism.

O’Connor and his family got to meet Johnson on the set of his forthcoming movie, and the star was sure to document the experience on social media.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I finally met this real life 10yr old hero, Jacob O'Connor. He rescued his 2yr old brother after finding him facedown in their pool. I said, not only do I shake hands, but when I meet heroic kids, I give hugs.. now get in here,” Johnson wrote. “Despite the fact I looked like 9 ways of hell, battered and bloodied from my scenes, Jacob reluctantly, gave me a hug. A very special day we had on our #Skyscraper set. #JacobOConnor #Hero.”

Johnson went out of his way to welcome the whole family to the set and treat them as if he knew them for years.

“Big Rock hugs for mama Christa O'Connor. As you can imagine, she's so proud of her son and even more, so grateful to have her boys. She told me that at first she wondered 'Wait, I am just calling Jacob a hero because I'm a proud mom and he's my son? Then I said, no wait.. he IS a real hero for saving his brother's life'. Amen. Yup, he sure is,” Johnson added. “Thank you so much Christa for flying out to Vancouver to allow us to meet you and your boys, Jacob and Gavin. We had a blast and grateful to have you on our set.#OConnorFamily #ProudMama.”

The day of surprises ewasn’t over just yet, as Johnson had something else special up his sleeve.

“Surprise! (mama shedding a few happy tears for her boys) I told Jacob and his brother Gavin that when kids visit my movie sets, it's like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory because children get to eat all the chocolate and sweets they want and the best part is...IT'S ALL FREE. Well someone has to pay for it, but it ain't me or the kids lol. Thank you to our entire #Skyscrapercrew for all doing their part to make this visit special for this family.#OnSet #RockWonka #OConnorFamily #SugarRush,” Johnson wrote.

Sounds like an amazing day for an amazing kid. Hats off to Johnson for making it happen.
