McDonald's Worker Exposes Disgusting Truth With Photo - Is Immediately Fired

A McDonald's 'whistle blower' is out of a job after posting photos of some very unappetizing things that most customers never get to see. The Laplace, Louisiana employee posted photos online of a 'drip tray' from his restaurant's ice cream machine, and it may turn you off to soft serve for the rest of your life.

The former McEmployee, known only as 'Nick' tweeted a picture of the drip tray, which is full of green slime, black sludge and yellow and green growths. It's positively disgusting, and many people believed it was the grease trap.

Nope, Nick explained. It's from the soft serve ice cream machine. "This is the grease trap for all the people that think I'm lying," he added, with another disgusting photo.

The young fast food worker decided that since he was exposing his McDonald's restaurant, he might as well go all the way. In for a penny, in for a pound as they say.

"Since I'm exposing McDonald's I might as well show y'all what y'all really eating... fresh out the freezer," he tweeted, posting more photos of freeze-dried burgers, nuggets and fish. "I mean it's no surprise that it's frozen but this shit isn't even real meat or fish."

Nick ended up losing his job for his little expose, but he seemed to be okay with it. "I wanted to go out with a bang," he tweeted.

Many people note that McDonald's is a franchise, and regardless of corporate standards, the actual execution of those standards can vary from restaurant to restaurant. Still, it's a lot of food for thought, considering everyone knows McDonald's isn't exactly serving natural, wholesome meals, and minimum wage-earning workers usually aren’t able or willing to keep up with the company’s demands.

Some stories about McDonald's food can really make you wonder about what you're putting in your body. One man in Utah left a McDonald's burger in a coat pocket.

He forgot about it and put the coat in storage. Some two years later he pulled out the coat and found the burger. It hadn't rotted, and even the mold spores didn't seem to want to feast on it. It looked exactly like it did the day he purchased it.

The man decided to try an experiment, so he hung on to the burger for another twelve years. The burger never changed.

This isn't the first time people have been turned off by McDonald's after getting a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes. Pictures of chicken nugget mixture, known as 'pink slime', disgusted a lot of people a few years ago.

The pink sludge is allegedly pureed leftover chicken bones and carcasses mixed together with chemicals and fillers. The sludge is then molded into the shape of the nuggets, breaded and deep fried.

“I accidentally left a whole bag of about 100 chicken nuggets out on a counter for way too long. They melted. Into a pool of liquid. I never understood why. But they were completely indiscernible as being the nuggets i once knew," said one former employee, according to the Huffington Post.
