911 Gets Emergency Call From Woman Who Says She Didn't Have Enough Sriracha

Sriracha is one of the trendiest condiments out there these days, and a lot of spice lovers just can't get enough of the tasty chili paste. One woman ordered it with her pizza, but she was dismayed when she got her dinner and it didn't have nearly as much sriracha as she had hoped. She complained to the pizza parlor, and after getting nowhere with them, she called 911 to report the emergency.

The anonymous woman from Seattle, Washington went into the pizza shop at around 2 a.m. to order her food with her favorite condiment. She complained to the store and she and the employees ended up getting into an argument. The woman says the employees began yelling at her and calling her names.

The 36-year-old woman says she was kicked out of the store. She was so furious that she called 911 and reported the incident as an emergency.

Officers arrived and found the woman and her 45-year-old male friend had gotten into a fight with a 29-year-old male in front of the shop. The argument started in the pizza store over sriracha.

The younger man was throwing a garbage can at the couple when the police arrived. The can struck the older man in the leg.

Police didn't disclose how the fight started outside the store between the two patrons. During questioning, however, the woman was preoccupied with the shortage of sriracha in her food order and she 'kept bringing it up'. Police think she was trying to 'divert [the] investigation from the assault to her irritation with the pizza parlor'.

The woman was also enraged over the treatment she got from an employee, who had tattoos on his face.

The man who threw the garbage can was arrested, but later released.

This wasn’t the first time an unsatisfied customer at a restaurant called 911 because they were unhappy with the service or a food order.

In Texas, a woman called 911 after McDonald's took too long to get her Chicken McNuggets. The furious woman blocked the restaurant's drive-thru window lane and demanded officers come down to help her. Because she didn't get them quickly enough, she wanted cops to force the employees to give them to her for free.

A California woman called 911 when she went through a Burger King drive-through and ordered a Western Barbecue burger, but they kept giving her a plain old hamburger with lettuce and tomato.

"Okay, what exactly is it you want us to do for you?" the 911 operator asked.

"Send an officer down here. I... I want them to make me--" the woman began.

"Ma’am, we’re not gonna go down there and enforce your Western Bacon Cheeseburger," the 911 dispatcher told the woman. The operator explained that not making a good enough burger isn't a criminal act.

In Florida, a man was arrested after he called 911 to complain about the food he got from a Checkers restaurant. He ate more than half of it, then went back to complain that it was incorrect. He got into an argument with the manager, who closed the drive-thru window on him.

The man was livid, but instead of the police cracking down on the fast food joint for the wrong order, the man landed himself in jail for misuse of 911.
