5,000 Bikers Will Attend Trump’s Inauguration - Here’s Why

President Elect Donald Trump proudly tweeted that ‘Bikers for Trump are on their way' to take part in his inauguration. The group plans to help keep protesters from causing trouble.

With Trump's inauguration looming, hotels in DC are beginning to fill up and the streets are being cleared. Nearly a million people are expected to show up for the inauguration, but not all of them are there to celebrate. Some 20 groups have gotten permits to protest in Washington that week.

Some demonstrators are willing to do whatever it takes to 'shut down' the inauguration on Friday. “We’re planning a series of massive direct actions that will shut down the inauguration ceremonies and any related celebrations—the inaugural parade, the inaugural balls, you name it,” warned the protest group Disrupt J20.

Chris Cox, founder of 'Bikers for Trump', appeared on the show "Fox & Friends" to say they're willing to do their part.

“In the event we are needed, we certainly will form a wall of meat,” Cox said. “We’ll be shoulder-to-shoulder with our brothers and toe-to-toe with anyone that is going to break through and police barriers,” Cox said.
