4-Year-Old Murdered By A 11-Year-Old Boy - Here’s Why

Two moms living together in Florida suffered a tragedy when one woman's child murdered the other woman's child in cold blood. The shocking crime committed by an 11-year-old boy revealed the child had a disturbing history of violence that goes back to when he was a tot and set fire to his crib.

Braydan Anthony Trahern, age 4, was found dead in his home by a houseguest. A male adult staying with the residents says he was awakened by an 11-year-old boy at 4 am and found Braydan unresponsive, slumped over, and with blood coming out of his mouth.

Vanessa Jones, the mother of the 11-year-old child, tried to revive Braydan. The house guest called 911. When emergency responders arrived, they found six adults and six children in the home. Upon initial examination, they could see 'suspicious bruises' on Braydan's neck.

Braydan was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead about 45 minutes later. Police say they 'noted several factors consistent with strangulation' on the 4-year-old's body.

Jones' 11-year-old son, who remains unnamed, was brought to a juvenile detention facility and charged with aggravated battery resulting in great bodily harm. An investigation uncovered details that paint a dark picture. The boy has a long history of problems going back to when he was a toddler.

At age three, the boy had burned the family's home down because he set fire to his own crib. He was fascinated by dead animals; he liked to cut off their limbs and carry the body parts around. He had anger issues and had been on medication for a while by the time of the attack on Brayden.

The 11-year-old boy strangled another child in another incident. The boy survived because Jones was there to intervene, but not before that victim had turned blue in the face. The 11-year-old also had a history of perpetrating 'sexually deviant behaviors'. He spent some time in a juvenile sexual treatment facility.

The older boy and Braydan were always fighting, according to Jones. The mother had just told her son that she couldn't afford birthday gifts for him, and he got upset. He got even more upset when his mother was playing with Braydan later that night.

The disturbed boy showed police on a mannequin how he squeezed and shook Braydan by the neck. He said he was in his 'mood', but when Brayden died he said he wanted him 'to come back to life.'
