17-Year-Old Girl Gets Cease-And-Desist From Trump's Lawyers Over Her Viral Website

The Trump administration may not have gotten off to a great start, but The Donald’s legal team is doing their part to keep dangerous teenagers off the internet.

It seems that the president's hard-working lawyers have sent a cease-and-desist letter to a high schooler who created a website that allows users to punch Donald Trump’s bouncing face with tiny kitten paws.

A 17-year-old girl from the Bay Area named Lucy came up with the cute TrumpScratch.com website to practice her coding skills.

The teenager is training for a career in web development, and she says she created the site as a “fun, little” coding project to beef up her resume.

Lucy first learned to code when she was 16, and is just finishing up a coding boot camp.

The talented teen said the website only took her a little more than three hours to create, and it was originally named TrumpScratch.com. She points out she decided to change the name after the president's lawyers contacted her about the website.

Less than a month after the site debuted, the teenager received the cease-and-desist letter from Trump's general counsel in the Trump Tower in New York City.

The letter noted that Trump was a well-known businessman and television star and stated: “As I'm sure you're aware, the Trump name is internationally known and famous.”

When she spoke to a family lawyer, Lucy decided to go ahead and change the name of her website to KittenFeed.com
“But after changing, they still came at me,” she remarked in an interview.

“It's so sad that his administration is focused more on being liked, burying real news and taking down sites like mine as they supposedly make him look bad,” she went on.

Of interest, Lucy and her lawyer have not responded to communication from Trump’s lawyers since changing the name of the site, and are waiting to see if they take any further steps.
The president’s PR team has declined to comment on the matter.
