100 Kids Get Surprise Of A Lifetime From Dallas Cowboys

Children grow up so fast, out of their cribs and into their “big kid” beds. The Dallas Cowboys wanted to make sure that all children are able to experience this milestone, that’s why they laid out 100 little beds with blankets, teddy bears, hats and other goodies on their field at AT&T Stadium.

According to Independent Journal Review, this was the second year that the Cowboys’ charitable organization teamed up with Ashley Furniture HomeStore’s “Hope to Dream” Program that donates beds to less fortunate children to give them “the gift of a good night’s sleep.”

Each year the Dallas Cowboys hosts a giant sleepover for the kids who get to meet the players, cheerleaders, eat pizza, have a dance party and watch a movie while cozy in their new beds.

For one little girl, it was the first time she ever had a teddy bear and her own bed to sleep in. She said the event as the “best day of her life,” Independent Journal Review reports. The Hope to Dream foundation aims to ensure that “every child around the world has a clean, unused mattress set to call their own.” For every Hope to Dream Ashley Furniture sells, one twin mattress set, pillow and comforter is donated to a child.
