“Morality Cop” Walmart Employee Refuses To Print Shotgun Wedding Photo

Some people are so self-important that they have to force their moral standards on others even when it’s none of their business.

One recent case in point is a Walmart employee who flat refused to print the engagement photo of a couple only a few days before their wedding as she believed it was supporting “gang culture” given they were posing with a shotgun.

Stephanie Wehner and fiancé Mitch Strobl took 13 images including one of the two of them and a 12-gauge over-and-under shotgun into a Walmart store in Dallas, Texas.

The couple, who are tying the knot this weekend, returned to pick the prints up, but were stunned when they were given 12 prints with a note reading: 'MINUS ONE 5 X 7. NO WEAPONS.'

The clerk explained to the couple that she could not process a picture with the weapon as it was against “store policy” and was promoting “gang culture”.

Ms. Wehner explained to WFAA-TV: “She was very nice, but very matter-of-fact, like she was not going to budge or give me my photo. It depicts our love for each other, and I wanted to be able to display those at the reception.”

“To automatically to be lumped into that category of a gang... that hits a little close to home for us, because that isn't our intent at all.”

The couple then asked to speak to the manager of the Walmart who said the employee was mistaken, went ahead and printed their picture, and even included a gift card.
