Man Yells 'Here, Piggy' To Woman On Street, Immediately Regrets It

Imagine walking down the street, all alone. When someone physically larger than you approaches you or says something sexually or verbally threatening to you. Unfortunately for most women, this is a reality for them at some point in their lives.

According to Hero Viral, more than 10 women have been subjected to verbal assaults in their lifetime.

Some apparently don’t mind if their mothers, sisters, daughters, neighbors or friends have to live in that kind of world. They just chalk it up to guys being guys. However, some with those ideals got a true taste of what is is like to be a woman who is harassed.

A mockumentary was created by the Stop Street Harassment organization and sponsored by Everlast to show a fake social experiment on catcallers. The video takes place in Lima, Peru where seven out of 10 women between 18 and 29 have experienced street harassment.

It shows men catcalling women on the street only to find out that the women are actually their mothers. The realism of the video allows catcallers to understand what it would be like to treat your mother that way. And if you’re shamed by treating your mother that way, you shouldn’t treat someone else’s mother that way.
