First They Adopt Triplets, Then This Couple Gets A Huge Surprise

Unfortunately for Andy and Sarah Justice, starting a family seemed all but impossible after they failed to conceive. With the high price of IVF treatments, Mr. and Mrs. Justice decided that their only option was to adopt. Despite the lengthy waiting period and tremendously inefficient, highly bureaucratic process, Andy and Sarah were determined to adopt.

The pair from Tulsa, Oklahoma, were ecstatic when they were matched with a mother-to-be who had decided to put her child up for adoption once born. When Mrs. Justice accompanied the pregnant woman to her first ultrasound, she was shocked at what the doctor told them. Mr. and Mrs. Justice were expecting triplets! However, the surprises weren’t over yet for this new family.

The triplets, named Joel, Hannah, and Elizabeth, were born two months premature and thus, were kept in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to be monitored. It was a week after this momentous occasion that Mrs. Justice began to feel somewhat under the weather, especially in the morning. When the doctor recommended that she have an ultrasound, Mrs. Justice’s suspicions were confirmed. In an incredible turn of events, Mr. and Mrs. Justice were informed that they would be having another child.

Both Andy and Sarah were delighted with the news and went to have the gender of the baby confirmed just a few months after. Mrs. Justice rang her husband shortly afterward to tell him the great news. “One is a boy,” Mrs. Justice revealed, telling her incredulous husband that she would be giving birth to twins; a boy and a girl.

The couple revealed to the press that they were initially overwhelmed at the prospect of having five babies. Mrs. Justice divulged her life-long wish to carry a child; luckily for her, she got to carry two! The pair has also confirmed that they will treat all their children as if they are of the same blood.
