Woman Sobbing In Drive-Thru Grabbed By 3 Teens, They Have No Idea Camera Is On Them

The owner of a coffee shop noticed a photo online of three drive-thru workers hanging out of a window to comfort and pray with a customer in the car. She thought it was wonderful and touching, and then made a startling realization-- it was her own employees, at her own business. She couldn't be more proud of her staff after hearing the story behind the viral image.

A woman known only as Barbara was sitting at a Dutch Bros. coffee shop in Vancouver, Washington was wondering why the line was moving more slowly than usual. The lady in front of her seemed to be holding things up, and Barbara was starting to get impatient. She noticed at least three employees clamoring at the window talking to the woman and she wondered what could be taking so long.

Then Barbara saw something unusual, and she wasn't annoyed or impatient anymore, she was touched. Three male employees piled on top of each other to reach out and hold the woman driver's hands, and they began praying. She snapped a picture of the tender moment.

When Barbara got up to the window, she got the story from the employees. The woman ahead of her had recently lost her husband, and the widow was having a very bad day. When she arrived at the coffee shop drive-thru windows, she was in tears. The staff reached out to comfort her and offer a prayer for her to find peace with her difficult situation.

Barbara posted the photo to Facebook and shared the story behind it. It was quickly passed around to thousands of people. It eventually even got sent to the owner of the branch, Jessica Chudek. She thought it was 'great' that employees at a Dutch Bros. shop was doing that, but when she realized it was her employees at her shop, it 'brought her to tears'.

"If every single person did an act of kindness, or just had a smile on their face every single day, the world would be a completely different place," said one of the employees who was hanging out the window that morning.
