What He Said After Not Seeing Melania For A Couple Weeks Left Everyone Stunned (Photos)

President Donald Trump has hopped Air Force One and arrived in Florida, his 'second home,' where he plans to meet First Lady Melania Trump. The two will be attending the lavish Red Cross Ball. According to the White House, they'll be 'shifting operations' for now to President Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence.

The President has reunited with the First Lady, who has been living in their New York City penthouse as son Barron finishes school. The two are in Florida for his first weekend 'working' break.

When the president arrived at the state he's dubbed his second home, he was greeted with congratulations. "I told you I'd win that election," he reminded the throngs at the airport. The statement raised a few eyebrows, since that was his first thought when he saw his wife, Melania, after being separated for weeks.

The Red Cross Ball is the event of the season, and some are shelling out a whopping $50,000 per ticket to attend the ball with the First Couple. The Trumps have attended the annual ball since long before getting into politics; they've been present nearly every year for the last decade.

Rubbing elbows with the POTUS and First Lady will be some 700 guests, including Prince Charles and Princess Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough, Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill, Princess Clotilde d’Orleans, Prince Charles Philippe and Princess Diana d’Orleans, and ambassadors to Switzerland, Italy, Colombia, Afghanistan, Peru, and Jordan. The event is expected to raise nearly $1 million in contributions.

Ironically, the Red Cross will be using the donations to help people shut out by President Trump's executive order that temporarily banned travel from seven countries. It will be used to 'provide basic support to stranded travelers affected by the order, including providing food and water at ports of entry; blankets, toiletries and other aid; and health, mental health and spiritual care services,' according to a Red Cross spokesperson.

Protesters are sending out the word to gather demonstrators for a "March to Mar-a-Lago for Humanity.”
