Trump Suggests He Would Have Hillary Clinton Indicted

Donald Trump is pledging that if he becomes president, he will “look into” prosecuting Hillary Clinton because she “seems to be guilty,” Breitbart News reported.

In a Fox News interview in Las Vegas, the night before the billionaire businessman won Tuesday’s Nevada Republican caucuses, host Sean Hannity pointed out the next president’s attorney general could file charges related to Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state. “The statute of limitations will not have passed,” he said.

Trump responded: “Well, look, you have no choice. We have to solve all sorts of problems. In fairness, you have to look into her. Maybe she can prove her innocence, but it just seems to me that, I think the public knows everything that they are going to know. The emails have come out. She seems to be guilty, but you know what, I wouldn’t even say that. But certainly it has to be looked at. … If I win, certainly I will look at that as being fair to everyone else.”

The GOP front-runner argued that failing to indict Clinton would be “unfair to the people that have been prosecuted over the years for doing much less than she did.” He claimed that “she’s being protected” by the Obama administration’s Justice Department.

The Washington Examiner made the case that “the government has gone after” former CIA Director David Petraeus “for lesser crimes.”
