Trump Says Orlando Massacre Part Of ‘Absolute War’ With ISIS

The mass shootings at a gay nightclub in Florida on Sunday proved the United States is at war with terrorists, Donald Trump proclaimed early the following morning on Fox News.

“There’s never been anything to this extent,” the Republican presidential candidate said. “There’s no uniforms involved, but it’s war; it’s absolute war. We better get smart, or it’s only going to get worse.”

Trump urged authorities to step up their efforts to stop terrorist plots. “You have thousands of shooters like this with the same mentality out there,” he said. “(There are) thousands of people in our country. We need to find out who they are and fast. … This group is a disaster.”

The Hill reported that Trump called for President Obama’s resignation and Hillary Clinton’s withdrawal from the presidential race, because the Democrats refuse to use the term “radical Islam.” Referring to Obama’s gun-control proposals, the billionaire declared: “This man has no clue. The shooter was licensed. ... He would have passed the test the president would have thrown up there. … (Obama is) not tough, not smart or has something else in mind.”

Trump called Clinton “a weak person … on so many levels.” He predicted that if the former secretary of state wins the race for the White House, she “is going to be worse than (Obama).” The New York City businessman slammed Clinton’s proposal to allow more refugees from war-ravaged countries like Syria to enter the United States. “We have no idea who they are,” he said, suggesting that terrorists could pose as refugees.
