Trump Rips Obama For Criticizing Republicans’ ‘Rhetoric’

In an interview with Breitbart News on Tuesday, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump lashed out at President Obama for his comments during a recent overseas trip.

“He’s over Africa and he’s talking about Trump,” the real-estate tycoon said. “I think it sends a very weak and a very bad signal to the people he’s trying to impress, and I think he would be much better off if he would focus on just straightening out that horrible nuclear deal with Iran that’s just been made rather than wasting his time talking about me,” the candidate said. “These countries must be saying, ‘What’s going on over there?’”

At a news conference in Africa, Obama responded to questions about another GOP presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee. The former Arkansas governor invoked memories of the Holocaust when he predicted the Iran nuclear agreement will “take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven.”

“When you get rhetoric like this, maybe it gets attention and maybe this is just an effort to push Mr. Trump out of the headlines, but it’s not the kind of leadership that is needed for America right now,” the president said.

In the Breitbart News interview, Trump also called for a criminal investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state.
