Trump Rips ‘Stupid’ News Media: ‘I Get The Worst Publicity’

Despite all the free news coverage he receives, Donald Trump complained Monday that reporters are unfair to him, The Hill reported.

“I think I get the worst publicity,” the Republican presidential front-runner told the crowd at a rally in Madison, Miss. “I probably get the worst publicity of any human being in the world. They make up stories, they write stuff. If you sneeze, they make a big deal out of it. I’ve been No. 1 almost from the beginning. These people are so stupid.”

Trump also had harsh words for other GOP candidates who are running negative campaign commercials about him. “These ads are so vicious and they’re so false,” the billionaire businessman declared. “These are the worst, most dishonest ads I have ever seen. … I don’t need this folks. I had such an easy life ... a wonderful family, a wonderful company ... a wonderful everything. My whole life has been about taking, grabbing, greed. Now it’s about taking for the United States.”

Trump claimed that his personal wealth prevents powerful individuals and groups from buying influence with him. “There’s nobody that has any control of me, in the sense that I will do what’s right for you. I will stop it,” he said. “The lobbyists in Washington, of which I know many and I’ve hired many over the years, are really good. They have a thing that says, ‘Rubio — I take care of Rubio.’”
