Trump: Clinton's Scandals Will Force Her Out of the Presidential Race

On Friday, Donald Trump shared his belief that Hillary Clinton's email scandal will force her out of the presidential race. He stated "What's going to happen is she's going to have to [end her campaign] at some point. I won't call it today but I might call it as soon as I learn a little bit more. If I learn a little bit more by that time, she's going to have to get out. You can't have somebody running who's under massive investigation and at the highest level [faces] potentially 20 years … in prison. This is serious stuff and how can you have somebody running and all of a sudden if they're indicted, which is a real possibility."

He also said that she will have to rely on the mercy of Democrats "You have all Democrats in a position. That's why her best hope is that they just don't want to do anything to her because all of the prosecutors are Democrats. And based on the fact that they're Democrats, maybe they want to get a promotion from Hillary, maybe they want something else. I don't know. If they're honorable, they have no choice but to indict her."

He also compared Hillary's scandal to that of General David Petraeus by saying "Highly respected guy, destroyed his life and he got a tremendous sentence. They didn't make him go to jail but they gave him essentially … two years' probation. What he did was 10 percent or 5 percent or 2 percent of what she did. I don't know how she can escape this. It's such a big problem. It's very hard to totally destroy somebody like Gen. Petraeus and to leave Hillary alone when she did many times worse than what he did."

When asked if he thought Vice President Joe Biden would run for president if Clinton ends her campaign, he responded "I don't care who it is. It's somebody that's going to lose. If I get this, people want to see our country be great again and no politician is able to do that. That's for sure."
