Trump to Clinton: If I Were in Charge 'You'd Be in Jail'

Last night’s presidential debate was full of explosive moments, but it’s one particularly terse exchange that stood out above the rest. As the Daily Mail reports, it sounds like Hillary Clinton better hope and pray that Donald Trump doesn’t pull out a victory this November.

A weekend full of surprises that ranged from lewd comments from Trump’s past to the reemergence of women that have previously accused former President Bill Clinton of misconduct finally made its way to the debate stage in St. Louis, and the charged atmosphere led to some incredibly tense situations.

Trump turned the attention to the email scandal that continues to plague the Clinton campaign, and unloaded on the perceived special treatment she has received from investigators.

'It's a disgrace, and honestly, you ought to be ashamed,” Trump said.

Clinton attempted to deflect and take back charge of the conversation, but Trump would get in the last word on the matter.

“It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country,' Clinton replied.

“Because you'd be in jail,” was Trump’s retort.

While the Trump campaign was placed back on its heels at the beginning of the weekend, it remarkably managed to close it out by holding steady as they continue to attempt to right the ship and gain back control of the conversation.
