Trump: ‘Reopen the Investigation’ Of Clinton’s Emails

Donald Trump, continuing to hammer Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server as secretary of state applauded the FBI for reopening the investigation into the former Secretary of State.

He praised Director Comey for "reopening the case into her criminal and illegal conduct that threatens the security of the United States of America."

"I have great respect for the fact that the FBI and DOJ are now willing to have the courage to right the horrible mistake they made," said Trump.

According to the Daily Mail, the Republican presidential nominee declared at an earlier campaign rally in Toledo, Ohio: “We need to reopen the investigation.” He argued that federal officials should ignore the findings of the FBI, which recommended no criminal charges against Clinton earlier this year.

“Hillary Clinton bleached and deleted 33,000 emails, lied to Congress under oath, made 13 phones disappear – some with a hammer – and then told the FBI she ‘couldn’t remember’ – 39 times,” Trump said.

Citing a recent report, he added: “The Clinton crew gave more than $675,000 to the wife of the deputy FBI director overseeing the investigation into Hillary’s illegal server.” That is “more devastating than anything you’ve seen so far,” according to the real-estate mogul. He told his supporters: “It pertains to what they knew, and it makes all of them – they’re already liars – but it confirms it for the 75th time.”

Trump accuses his opponent of giving government access and favors to Clinton Foundation donors while she headed the State Department. He often points to “Clinton Cash,” a book published last year, to back up his claims.

“Hillary Clinton put the office of secretary of state up for sale, and if she got the chance she’d put the Oval Office up for sale, also,” Trump said.
