Terrorist Funding Traced Back To Last Ransom Payout Facilitated By Obama Administration

The U.S. has a strict and long-standing policy of not paying ransoms for Americans who are kidnapped while abroad. To do so would only put even more Americans in danger, as it would quickly become terrorists favorite way of raising cash to fund even more violence and attacks against America and its allies. This is also why many Americans were furious to learn that former President Barack Obama spent his last days in office secretly negotiating major ransom payoff to Iran.

Obama gave $400,000,000 of taxpayer dollars to Iran because the country was holding four Americans hostage. The move was made at the eleventh hour so that Obama could step down from his position without facing any backlash for it. And indeed, the plan worked— the trade happened, and the former president walked away before anyone even realized that the deal had gone through.

Iran is considered the deadliest terrorist state in the world by Obama’s own State Department. In June of 2016, Iran received the cash payout and sent a large portion of it to Hezbollah, a terrorist group the country's politicians regularly fund.

"According to a Saudi Arabian newspaper report on April 25th, Hezbollah had received $600 million worth of Iranian aid," notes Yeshiva World New. "The Al-Youm newspaper reported that the aid was transferred almost completely in hard cash, and is being used for the terror group’s institutions and salaries paid to its terrorists and their families."

The former president has a suspicious history of doing things that benefit Iran. He pulled troops out of Iraq prematurely and left the country vulnerable to Iran. This move came even after 500 U.S. soldiers lost their lives in militant attacks directly linked to Iran. Obama also allowed the country to start a nuclear program. Delivering $400 million just days before he left the White House was only the last in a long line of actions that supported Iran, despite the country being an enemy of America.
