Ted Cruz Claims Donald Trump is 'Losing It'

At a rally in Goffstown, N.H., Cruz spoke of his main presidential rival, Donald Trump by saying “He’s losing it. We need a commander in chief, not a Twitter-er in chief.”

He continued, “We need someone with the judgment and temperament to keep this country safe. I don’t know anyone who would be comfortable with someone who behaves this way having his finger on the button. I mean, we’re liable to wake up one morning and Donald, if he were president, would have nuked Denmark. That’s not the temperament of a leader to keep this country safe.”

On Tuesday evening, Cruz told Fox News he would “continue to sing Donald’s praises personally."

Cruz went on to say that Trump is in favor of expanding the government's healthcare role by arguing, “Donald wants to expand Obamacare so that the federal government is in charge of your doctor and my doctor. And he’s entitled to that view. It’s a view that would be very welcome in the Democratic Party. It’s a view that both Hillary [Clinton] and Bernie Sanders would support. But it’s the opposite of my view. My view is, if I’m elected president, we’re going to repeal every word of Obamacare."

Cruz then talked about eminent domain, stating He doesn’t want to discuss his support for eminent domain, for taking private property and giving it to giant corporations and casinos. So instead he engages in insults. I think the people are interested in substance and record and a positive, optimistic vision.”

While Cruz was speaking in New Hampshire, Trump tweeted “Cruz just lied again. I am, and have been totally against #Obamacare- repeal and replace!”
