Sources Suggest Melania Trump Is Unhappy With Sean Spicer - Not Doing A Good Job

Sources who claim to be in the know of what's going on behind closed doors with the first family seem to be coming out of the woodwork and clamoring for attention these days. Politico recently spoke to a modeling agent claiming to have inside information, and he says Melania Trump isn't happy with White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. According to this source, the First Lady wants Mr. Spicer to do a better job defending the president.

Paolo Zampolli, a longtime friend and former agent of Melania, says that Mrs. Trump is fiercely protective of her husband. She's not happy with the way the media treats him and wants Spicer to be more proactive in protecting the president.

Zampolli, who claims he introduced the couple to each other back in 1998, recently told Politico that Mrs. Trump is a cable-news hound and that stories that make President Donald Trump look bad make her furious. She's raised numerous concerns about Trump's press team and is worried about the West Wing information leaks.

Even though the First Lady has remained behind in New York City for the last few months, she's quietly taken on the role as the president's own private watchdog. She reports any stories that she feels are doing him an injustice.

“She would consult with us, she would send me things. She was concerned when there was this ridiculous reaction to some of Trump’s statements,” said Sam Nunberg, who was Trump’s campaign manager. ”[Trump] would say to us, ‘Melania said this; well, Melania told me that.’”

“Melania loves the president unconditionally, definitely, she really cares about the president, she feels a kind of protection,” said Zampolli. “The main concern to the president and the first lady is that these leaks are unacceptable.”

According to White House insiders, Mr. and Mrs. Trump speak almost every night, and Melania brings him up to speed on the current headlines. “She was really concerned that Spicer was not doing a good job, that they were not proactive in defending the president,” said one source who reportedly speaks to the president regularly, according to Politico. "The leaks bother her. She believes a lot of people are more interested in serving themselves than him.”

The first lady was hoping her presence on the president’s first tour abroad would help keep headlines positive. With her finally moving to the White House, she’s hoping to exert even more of her influence.
